Her work is a depiction of the dilemma of modern life which revolves around juggling responsibility while trying to connect with the inner beauty of the universe. El Meshad original inspiration comes from the still life object “the fan “. Representing constant twirling of ideas in our heads and how we get lost in them, as well as the constant battle within us constantly erupting and settling down represented by the fan which cools us down with its constant flow of air. The abstract idea of the fan was therefore integrated into her compositions in different ways leaving diverse impacts.
