
Neama El Sanhoury
Neama is a Cairo-based multi-award-winning visual artist and art therapist. She studied Art and holds a postgraduate degree in Egyptology and Archaeology. She also studied Graphic Design and Art Therapy in Toulouse, France. Neama has worked as a tour guide, an art lecturer, an interior designer and a designer of movie posters. She received many awards and certificates of appreciation from different institutions in Egypt and abroad.
Her works have been exhibited at galleries, festivals and biennales in solo and group exhibitions both inside and outside Egypt. Neama has exhibited her work internationally in France, Morocco and Spain and some of her artworks are in private and public collections in Egypt, France, Spain, Australia and Denmark. She exhibited her works across Egypt at Cairo Opera House (2008 & 2010), Al Hanager (2014), Khan Funoon (2014), Youth Salon while still a student, International Water Council (2014), Kasr El-Fonoun (2015), Gallery Art Corner (2015), Adel Sabet Art Gallery (2016), National Organization for Urban Harmony (2019) and most recently at Dai Gallery (2020). Her works were also exhibited at Galerie Pierre Alain Challier, France (2015) among other places in Alicante, Spain (2014); Chefchaouen, Morocco (2019) and Málaga, Spain (2020).
