Ayman Lotfy
Ayman Lotfy is an Egyptian photographer who graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in 1991. At the beginning of his career, Ayam pursed the field of fashion designing, and with devotion and passion, managed to become a professional Art Director in 1996. Two years later, he steered his way into the field of photography with the aim of enhancing and developing both his skills and work as a designer. Over the past 24 years, Ayman knew that the camera was his door to the new world of Modern Art Photography and photography has been his field of work ever since.
Ayam is keenly interested in human emotions and expressions. He knew that in order to capture a human’s expression and deliver it to an audience, one must challenge one’s self, and so Ayman put together both his creativity and persistence into revealing the mysteries of human emotions by combining both Fine Art and Photography. Driven by determination and the want to communicate more of his artistic visions to the world, Ayam added Video Art and Performance to his tools.
One of his films called “Finding Salvation” was screened at Venice Biennale in 2010.
Ayman also participated in numerus international exhibitions including ones in Spain, Austria, Portugal, and other countries around the world. He was given many national and international awards. Some of these awards are the Future Speaker Award in PSA Photography Conference in New Mexico, USA (2014) and the State Encouragement Award (2016-2017) as well as several other international awards.
