Ammar was born in Al Haraneyah, Egypt in 1972. He holds a Bachelor of English Language and Literature and is a member of the Syndicate of Plastic Artists as well as the national Society of Fine Arts in Egypt. Ammar has contributed in the Egyptian Art Movement since 1994 and has held many private and general exhibitions both inside and outside Egypt. Ammar was given several awards throughout his journey as an artist and was part of the 1st Matruh Scrap Iron Sculpture Symposium.
Among his list of achievements, Ammar was assigned by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture to supervise many art workshops. Collections of his can be found at Farouk Hosney Museum, Museum of Egyptian Modern Art, InterContinental Cairo Semiramis Hotel, El-Gouna, City Center Mall in Sharm El-Sheikh, Cairo Opera House, Lake View Residence in New Cairo among many other hotels all over Egypt. Ammar’s collectibles can be found internationally in Saudi Arabia, at the French, English and Italian Embassies as well as in the private collections of individuals both inside and outside Egypt.
