One of the things that inspire Alaa is photos. She’s highly interested in and loves collecting old photos; be them famous photographs, local photographs, or family ones. People, as well as their captured feelings and emotions are two of the main things that inspire Alaa’s work. She uses oil painting as the medium of her contemporary paintings to visually unravel both emotions and stories.
